The standard-length slot reads high- and low-coercive strips and provides maximum stability and contact for accurate, bi-directional reads of up to three tracks of magnetic strip data. Tone and LED indicators confirm and signal valid data collection. Ideal for multiple uses, including retail point-of-sale and self-service transactions and access control applications, Manhattan Magnetic Stripe Card Readers are easy to implement and simple to use. A built-in keyboard wedge decoder sends scanned data to an active application where it appears as if it were manually typed or directly keyed into the computer. Quick installation through any USB port integrates with most PCs without an external power supply or complicated programming.
